Chris Pratt consistently posts heartfelt messages for his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, on Instagram, praising her as a wonderful wife and mother to their daughters Lyla, Eloise, and baby number three. The actor is constantly praising his partner, sharing photos of their family life on social media and expressing deep gratitude for the joy and love she brings to their family, calling her a "blessing" and an "amazing woman"
On Saturday, December 14, he did just that, wishing his other half a happy birthday with one of his signature posts.
"Join me in wishing happy birthday to the most extraordinary wife, mother, step mother, friend, sister, daughter, podcaster, author, and mega boss! Grateful to have been by your side for another trip around the sun! Let’s do it again! And again! Happy Birthday Chief! ❤️."
Along with the sweet caption, he included a carousel of photos from their life together, including snaps of them together, Katherine and their children, and some solo shots of his wife.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe star recently set the record straight about how he met his wife. The Guardians of the Galaxy actor shot down rumors that Katherine’s mom, Maria Shriver, is the one who introduced the pair during a chat with Steve Doocy on Fox & Friends on Tuesday.
“That’s actually not true,” Pratt told the host. “Let’s settle it now.”
“I met my wife in church,” he revealed. “I was at a church in Hollywood, and I looked over, and I saw her. And I know you’re not supposed to be, like, checking out girls at church, but I’m only human. And I thought, ‘Wow, she’s really cute.’”
The actor was with his oldest son, Jack, when he first noticed Katherine at church. Pratt shares Jack, 13, with his ex-wife, Anna Faris, whom he split from in 2017 after eight years of marriage.
“I was there with my son Jack, and I picked him up from the kids program, and Jack and I met Katherine basically at the same time,” the Marvel star told Doocy. “And, yes, the rest is history.”
