Kris Jenner is not holding back. In the latest episode of 'The Kardashians,' the 70-year-old momager delivered one of her trademark zingers while discussing cosmetic procedures with her daughter Kim Kardashian in Paris.
“Probably the only thing on my face that’s real is my nose,” Kris joked, prompting Kim, 45, to quickly defend her own natural features. “Never had a veneer, baby,” Kim said, a pointed reminder in the age of celebrity enhancements.
Kris then cheekily told her daughter to “bend over,” seemingly referencing long-standing rumors about Kim’s backside. It was a moment of classic Jenner humor, but the conversation underscored a more serious topic, Kris’s latest facelift.
The reality star recently underwent a reported $100,000 procedure with celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Steven M. Levine in New York City. The facelift, her second, was performed ahead of her milestone 70th birthday in November.
“I had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh,” Kris told Vogue Arabia earlier this year. “I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy.”
The businesswoman has long been candid about her approach to aging. “Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself. If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully, meaning you don’t want to do anything, then don’t do anything. But for me, this is aging gracefully. It’s my version.”
Her openness about cosmetic enhancements isn’t just for headlines. Kris explained that she shares her experiences to help normalize the process for others. “It really is somehow my way of showing people and trying to inspire others not to be afraid of surgeries that you need that are necessary or even something you wanna do because you wanna feel better about yourself,” she said.
Kris is no stranger to the operating room. Over the decades, she’s experimented with a range of procedures, from Botox and breast augmentations in the 1980s to a notable earlobe reduction in 2018.
A few years later, she faced a “very scary” hip replacement in 2022, an ordeal she candidly documented for 'The Kardashians.' “It reminds me of somebody older than I feel on the inside and somebody who is going to have challenges for the rest of her life. This is serious,” she said at the time.
Even with years of procedures under her belt, Kris still emphasizes the importance of self-confidence and comfort in one’s own skin. She’s also transparent about the people who support her. “Of course, my daughter Kylie went with me, while Kim was present at all times on FaceTime,” she revealed.
Her most recent facelift came with some high-profile media buzz. Kris first made headlines for her refreshed appearance while attending Lauren Sánchez Bezos’ star-studded bachelorette party in Paris back in May. Fans quickly noticed the subtle yet striking transformation, with social media buzzing over photos of the reality matriarch looking effortlessly youthful.
Kris’s post-surgery glow was on full display this week when she joined daughter Kendall Jenner for a rare red-carpet outing at the 20th Anniversary of the L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth in Los Angeles.
Kris stunned in a floor-length red Valentino gown complete with a black bow and matching opera gloves, a nod to a look she wore on a date with then-husband Robert Kardashian in the 1980s. Makeup artist Ash K. Holm shared a clip of Kris getting glammed up, writing, “Valentino on the moodboard → modern glam on the carpet. She’s aging in reverse."
