Hailee Steinfeld and husband Josh Allen share sweet moment during his college jersey retirement

Hailee Steinfeld and husband Josh Allen shared a rare PDA moment while celebrating a major milestone in his football career.

On Saturday, Nov. 22, the pair appeared on camera during the University of Wyoming’s matchup against Nevada, where Allen’s No. 17 jersey was officially retired at halftime.

Throughout the game, social media clips captured the Buffalo Bills quarterback, 29, and the 28-year-old actress leaning in close, chatting, and even tapping their matching Wyoming hats together as they enjoyed the action on the field.

Steinfeld embraced the school spirit in a brown-and-gold letterman jacket — the university’s signature colors — paired with a coordinating cap, denim jeans and gold earrings. Allen opted for a brown-and-white hat and a gray sweatshirt.

According to ESPN, Allen — last season’s NFL MVP — became the first football player, and only the third athlete ever, to have a jersey retired by the University of Wyoming. During his college years, he helped guide the Wyoming Cowboys to back-to-back eight-win seasons.

The couple tied the knot on May 31 in a romantic ceremony in Santa Barbara, California. Since their wedding, Steinfeld and Allen haven’t shied away from expressing how deeply they support one another. Earlier this month, the Sinners star reflected on their bond in an interview with Bustle.

“I literally thank God every day that I found my person, and it’s the greatest thing in the world,” she shared. “Life makes sense. Everything makes sense. I feel like I am stepping into the version that I’ve always dreamed of being, having so much to do with being with him.”

She also noted that her relationship with Allen has positively influenced her career. “That inner peace that you have, that rock, that solid, consistent part of your life is indescribable,” she told Bustle.

Allen echoed the sentiment back in June, telling reporters that even in a year marked by an NFL MVP win and a $330 million contract extension, nothing compares to marrying Steinfeld.

"They've all been big," he said of his recent achievements, before adding, "None other than marrying my best friend.”
