Despite the ordeal, Fátima Bosch, born in Tabasco, Mexico, remains focused and determined to represent her country at Miss Universe 2025.

According to exclusive information obtained by ¡HOLA! Américas, we now know what really unfolded during that tense encounter, one in which Fátima remained composed, true to her values, yet firm enough not to allow further disrespect.

A misunderstanding turned into a showdown:

Sources close to the situation explain that the incident began when Nawat accused Miss Universe Mexico of refusing to cooperate with the organization.

The issue stemmed from a simple request, as contestants were asked to post promotional stories on social media. Fátima explained that she needed to check first with her national director, George Figueroa, before sharing anything online.

What began as a courteous exchange quickly escalated. During a group activity with the other contestants, Nawat confronted her directly, asking her to stand up, only to begin verbally berating her in front of everyone.

The situation escalated:

Witnesses told ¡HOLA! that Fátima requested to talk about the matter privately. “This isn’t the proper way to address me,” she reportedly told him. “I represent a country, and you owe me the same respect I am giving you.”

But things spiraled quickly. Losing his temper, Nawat snapped and tried to silence her, allegedly saying she “must be dumb” for listening to her director. The insults, witnesses say, didn’t stop there.

The situation reached a boiling point when Nawat suddenly ordered security to remove Fátima from the room. “Security! Take her out!” he shouted, according to those present.

Even members of Nawat’s own staff reportedly urged him to stop, alarmed by his outburst. Before security could reach her, Fátima calmly gathered her belongings and walked out on her own. Several contestants, including Miss Iraq, followed her in solidarity, shocked by how she had been treated.

Fátima's message after the heated exchange:

Later, Fátima addressed local Thai media outside the venue, delivering a powerful message of dignity and empowerment. “I love Thailand. I respect your people and your culture deeply,” she said. “But what your director just did was not respectful.”

She continued. “He called me dumb because he has issues with the organization. That’s not fair. I’m here doing my best, being kind to everyone. He just attacked me and told me to shut up. The world needs to see this, because we are empowered women, and no one should silence our voices.”

“No one will ever make me feel small,” she concluded. “I have respect for all of you and for this country, but treating someone like that, for no reason, is not right.”

Despite the ordeal, Fátima Bosch, born in Tabasco, Mexico, remains focused and determined to represent her country at Miss Universe 2025, which will take place on November 21 in Thailand. And as support from fans and fellow contestants continues to pour in, she is one of the favorites to take home the crown.
