It was an ordinary afternoon in LA, but Jennifer Garner and her middle child, Fin Affleck, were sharing a special moment. The 53-year-old actress, known for her effortless charm and stylish looks, was spotted sharing laughs with 16-year-old Fin as the two ran errands together.
The star kept things casual in a soft white-and-black striped sweater, black sweatpants, and sneakers. Makeup-free and in good spirits, she wore her brunette hair in a loose bun, with her signature glasses framing her face as she talked to Fin.
Meanwhile, Fin showed off a look that seemed straight out of Ben Affleck's wardrobe, rocking baggy jeans, a cozy pullover sweatshirt, and sneakers. Fin channeled Ben’s signature casual style.
Completing the look with short-cropped hair and a brown leather crossbody bag, Fin wore a laid-back ensemble. Just last week, Fin made headlines for another fashion moment when they sported a navy crewneck paying homage to The Smiths, paired with crisp jeans and that same leather bag.
In addition to Fin, Garner and Ben Affleck share two other children, Violet, now 19 and a Yale student, and Samuel, 13. Though the couple separated in 2015 and finalized their divorce three years later, they’ve continued to show the kind of cooperation that keeps their family grounded.
“I’m really lucky that I have a really good co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kids’ mom, who’s wonderful and great and we work together well,” Affleck told GQ in March.
The 'Good Will Hunting 'actor has often spoken about the importance of honesty when raising children under public scrutiny. “We used to have a thing, my ex-wife and I,” he recalled. “When they would see something on a supermarket stand, we would say, ‘You know this isn’t always true because if it were, you would have 15 brothers or sisters or whatever the number of stories is where they said your mom was pregnant.’”
Garner once reflected on the heartbreak of their split, telling Vanity Fair she had “lost the dream of dancing with my husband at my daughter’s wedding.” But by 2021, she’d found peace, telling The Hollywood Reporter, “When our kids get married, we’ll dance. I know that now. We’ll boogaloo and have a great time. I don’t worry about that anymore.”
