Pete Davidson surprises pregnant girlfriend Elsie Hewitt with a private jet date to see Paul McCartney

Pete Davidson pulled out all the stops for his pregnant girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, whisking her away on a private jet for a surprise date to see Paul McCartney perform live on Friday.

“Pete is taking me on a surprise date,” Hewitt shared on her Instagram Stories, posting a photo of the 31-year-old comedian sitting across from her on the plane. Once they landed, Davidson revealed the destination — Minnesota — where McCartney was set to perform at U.S. Bank Stadium.

“I’m crying he’s so cute,” Hewitt wrote in another Story after finding out about the romantic gesture.

The Saturday Night Live alum didn’t stop there — he also arranged for the two to meet McCartney, 83, backstage after the show.

“That was really like a special lil bucket list moment for me,” Hewitt, 29, gushed in a later post. “[Paul] is pretty much the one person I’ve always wanted to meet. Do I have the sweetest, most thoughtful boyf or wat hehehe”

Hewitt announced in July that she and Davidson are expecting their first child together, just a few months after making their relationship public in March. The sweet date night comes shortly after Davidson’s ex, Kim Kardashian, brought up their brief relationship during her Call Her Daddy interview earlier this week.

During the podcast, Kardashian reflected on a difficult period in their romance, recalling how her ex-husband Kanye West targeted Davidson in his 2022 “Eazy” music video. In the visual, West, 48 — who finalized his divorce from the SKIMS founder later that year — depicted the comedian being buried alive.

“That made me feel really sad. That really wasn’t fair for him,” Kardashian said on Wednesday’s episode, according to Daily Mail. Davidson and Kardashian dated from October 2021 to August 2022, following her split from West.

At the time of their breakup, sources told Page Six that the couple’s age difference contributed to their split.

“Pete is 28 and Kim is 41 — they are just in very different places at the moment,” an insider said. “Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment’s notice. But Kim has four kids and it isn’t that easy. She needs to focus on the kids."
