During her performance at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional, the singer delivered a powerful message before singing her song "Inti." On Wednesday night, Cazzu reconnected with her Mexican audience for the second stop of her Latinaje Tour. This show took place just hours after controversy arose regarding a public statement from her ex-partner and the father of her daughter, Christian Nodal. Through his lawyer, Nodal addressed concerns related to the support and custody arrangements for their two-year-old daughter, including travel permissions for the child to be with her mother.

Taking the stage, Cazzu read a heartfelt letter to her fans just before singing "Inti," a song inspired by her little girl. “This next song, I want to dedicate it differently tonight. I want to dedicate it to all the mothers raising their children alone. Like many women, not only do I not receive help—I receive attacks,” she said, prompting loud cheers from the supportive audience.

Shortly after midnight, following Cazzu’s concert, Christian Nodal posted a cryptic story on Instagram.

She continued, “I used to believe that peace could be built through silence, but silence often contradicts struggle. When I received all your support, I knew I had found a refuge to keep fighting.” She added that she will always fight as a mother first, before as a woman: “When it comes to our children, they touch our most fragile point. But in life, you can be fragile like a rose or fragile like a bomb.”

Although she didn’t name anyone specifically and addressed the crowd, fans of the Argentine singer immediately interpreted her words as a response to Nodal’s recent public statement. “When I talk about my life and my situation, I do it as a mother—because when you’re a mother, a man’s love doesn’t matter one bit,” she said.

Sitting before thousands of fans, she added, “It’s unfair to give something so dark a place in such a beautiful moment like the one you’re giving me, but it’s important and necessary for you to know that this fight belongs to all of us.”

She concluded, “As long as injustice and sadness weigh on our hearts, we’ll find comfort in our children—and another balm for the heart is music. That’s why this song, written with love, is my gift to you tonight. Let it remind you that to be strong, you must have a lot of heart. For all the mothers who fight, for the daughters of mothers who had to fight, and for the daughters who became mothers now fighting their own battles.”

Christian Nodal’s Mysterious Post

Shortly after midnight, following Cazzu’s concert, Christian Nodal posted a cryptic story on Instagram. The photo featured an ashtray with several used cigarettes on a cluttered table in a dimly lit room, whose ceiling was decorated to resemble a starry sky.

Christian Nodal married Angela Aguilar after his split from Cazzu.

The text over the image read: “A drink, a cry, and then move on…” Some people interpreted the post as a subtle response to his ongoing situation with Cazzu, while others suggested it might be a teaser for an upcoming song. The image could potentially be a still from its music video, which features a vintage VHS-style aesthetic.
