Victoria’s Secret made its dazzling return to the global stage with the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2025, broadcast live from New York City on October 15, 2025, and this time, history was made in fiery red with the rise of a Colombian angel.

For the first time, Karol G, the Colombian powerhouse redefining global pop, stepped into the legendary role of a Victoria’s Secret Angel. Draped in a sheer, ruby-red lace bodysuit with crystal embellishments, matching floral heels, and the brand’s iconic feathered wings, Karol embodied the modern angel: confident, unapologetic, and deeply rooted in her Latina pride.

As she strutted down the runway with the word “LATINA” blazing across the stage, it was a fashion statement with a cultural declaration. Karol became the first Colombian artist to ever perform and officially wear the Victoria’s Secret wings, marking a bold and empowering milestone for Latin American representation in one of fashion’s most-watched spectacles.

A Night of Music, Glamour, and Power

Under the creative direction of Adam Selman, this year’s show reimagined the Victoria’s Secret experience as a journey through the day and night of the modern woman, blending sensuality, individuality, and global energy.

The musical lineup was as dazzling as the designs. Karol G headlined alongside Madison Beer, Missy Elliott, and TWICE’s Nayeon, Momo, Tzuyu, and Jihyo, bringing a cross-continental fusion of sound and style to the runway.

Karol opened her set with “Ivonny Bonita”, a bachata-infused track from her new album "Tropicoqueta," her voice gliding effortlessly through the sultry rhythm as models glimmered down the catwalk. The song title, inspired by a phrase she once heard in a Wizkid track, perfectly captured the show’s essence.

The Iconic Reveal

Just when the crowd thought her performance had ended, Karol returned to the stage, now wearing the signature Victoria’s Secret wings, a moment that instantly lit up social media. With the crowd roaring, she launched into “Latina Foreva”, her anthem celebrating heritage and self-love, closing the show in pure empowerment.

The lyrics, the look, the wings, it all proved that Latinas aren’t just part of the global conversation; they are leading it.

Fashion Meets Technology

Victoria’s Secret also leaned into the future of fashion. For the first time, the show introduced a real-time shopping experience across its website, app, select stores, and Amazon Fashion. As looks hit the runway, viewers could instantly “get the look,” turning fashion fantasy into shoppable reality.

The collections celebrated bold color stories, body inclusivity, and the return of the wings—but with a 2025 twist. From sculptural lingerie to flowing silks and crystal-dusted bodysuits, each piece spoke to the brand’s modern mission.

The fusion of top models, women-led music performances, and a celebration of diversity gave the show a heartbeat it had been missing.
