Jessica Alba's boyfriend, actor Danny Ramirez, pulls hilarious airport prank on Glen Powell

Glen Powell and Danny Ramirez go way back; their friendship dates back to their time working together on "Top Gun: Maverick." So when Ramirez decided to “fan-girl/fan-boy” Glen at the airport, the result was equal parts sweet, funny, and viral gold.

When "Top Gun: Maverick" hit screens, it not only elevated the franchise but also forged real connections behind the scenes. Powell, riding that momentum, has since kept up a blistering pace of hits, including "Chad Powers," "Hit Man," "Anyone But You," among others.

Meanwhile, Ramirez has quietly built his own rising profile, which includes "Assassination Nation," "Top Gun: Maverick," and "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier."  Their shared history on Maverick gave them both a foundation of camaraderie.

So when Glen stopped by the airport recently to meet fans and hand out autographs, Ramirez hatched a plan. He slotted himself into the crowd, holding a cover magazine of Powell, which the actor is currently promoting. At first glance, he looked like any other fan.

But things got interesting fast. In the clip circulating online, Ramirez leans in and mutters something under his breath. Powell, mid-signature, catches the shift. He looks up, realizes who’s standing before him… and bursts out laughing. The fans around catch on. Some are startled, some grin.

One person in the crowd deserves extra credit. As Ramirez edged closer, a bystander peered at him and paused, like, “Wait … is that him?” They held back, letting Powell experience the moment before the reveal. Powell and Ramirez pointed at each other, and laughter broke out.

As expected, the clip set social media ablaze. Comments ranged from “Bros being bros" to  “Imagine getting pranked by your own friend at the airport."

Danny Ramirez Has the Spotlight

After confirming his relationship with Jessica Alba, Ramirez has been making headlines more often. In September, the beloved actors were captured in New York City as they celebrated Danny's 33rd birthday with a cozy evening at the exclusive members-only club Zero Bond.

The couple was seen arriving at the venue hand in hand on September 17, catching attention with their stylish yet relaxed outfits. Alba, 44, looked effortlessly chic in a black leather jacket paired with wide-leg trousers and accessorized with a quilted Chanel handbag.

The actor opted for a timeless look, wearing a white button-down shirt tucked into belted blue jeans. He accessorized with a silver chain and black loafers. The couple seemed relaxed and happy as they left their hotel earlier in the evening to enjoy the celebration.

Earlier this month, the couple attended the U.S. Open together, accompanied by Alba’s father, Mark Alba, to watch an exciting match between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. 

Alba’s romance with Ramirez has been flourishing since this summer. A source told People in July that the pair was “having a good time together,” characterizing their relationship as “casual” but meaningful. It was noted that they share mutual friends, including Eva Longoria, and move in similar social circles.
