Katy Perry has all but confirmed her budding relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau after the two were spotted sharing a passionate kiss aboard her yacht.
Rumors of their romance first began circulating in July, when the pop star and the ex-politician were seen dining together at an upscale restaurant in Montreal, just as Perry kicked off her Lifetime’s world tour. The singer recently ended her engagement to longtime partner Orlando Bloom, with insiders attributing the breakup to “tensions” that emerged following a trip to space.

The two appeared completely unconcerned about being spotted as they shared intimate moments on the yacht’s upper deck. At one point, Trudeau was seen placing his hands on Perry’s backside while she donned a black swimsuit, and he went shirtless in a pair of jeans.
"She pulled up her boat next to a small public whale-watching boat, then they started making out. I didn't realize who she was with until I saw the tattoo on the guy's arm, and I immediately realized it was Justin Trudeau," an eyewitness told the outlet. Trudeau’s distinctive “Haida raven” tattoo on his upper left arm pays tribute to the Indigenous Haida people, known for their seafaring and artistic traditions.
Although neither Perry nor Trudeau has officially commented on the relationship, insiders claim the 40-year-old singer is smitten.
"Katy is very, very interested in him. She says he's a real catch, a high-quality guy. She keeps a lot of details to herself, but she clearly still likes him a lot," a source told the Daily Mail. "They just are so busy and in different cities, so they aren't physically together. But if there's anyone worth having a long-distance relationship with, it's him. She likes him a lot. He likes her a lot. I'd even say they're enamored."
