Dua Lipa had the ultimate surprise for fans in the audience of her show at the Kia Forum.

The singer took her Radical Optimism Tour to Los Angeles on Wednesday, Oct. 8, where she delighted the crowd by bringing out Gwen Stefani to perform a duet of No Doubt's hit, "Don't Speak."

The English-Albanian singer introduced Stefani as her "favorite artist," going on to say she's "someone who I've grown up listening to my whole life, who's influenced my music, influenced my style, someone who I love as a performer and someone who just constantly keeps redefining herself in music, and I just absolutely love that."

"This incredible woman is here tonight," Lipa continued. "And so, Los Angeles — you lucky f***ers, you get to have the one and only Gwen Stefani."

Stefani's arrival was met with tons of applause before both pop stars collaborated on a rendition of "Don't Speak" accompanied by Lipa's band.

Dua previously collaborated with her favorite artist on a remix of her song "Physical" with Mark Ronson for her Club Future Nostalgia project in August 2020. The next year, during an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, Lipa said she "couldn't believe" Stefani agreed to do the "Physical" remix.

"I sat by my phone and I was literally holding my face pretty much," she said at the time. "I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is crazy. This is crazy.’ I was just pacing around the room. Yeah, like, ‘I’ve got it!'"

She continued, "And the way it happened was so cool because we basically contacted Gwen and her team to try and clear the sample for ‘Hollaback Girl,’ for Club Future Nostalgia. I was like, ‘Maybe we should just ask, put a feeler out, see if she wants to do something.’ And she loved Mark Ronson’s remix of ‘Physical.’ And she was like, ‘I’d love to jump on this.’ I’m like, ‘Hell yeah, let’s go. This is surreal.’ It was just so exciting."
