Over the weekend, the 45-year-old singer and fashion mogul shared a heartwarming photo on Instagram, standing side by side with her 6-year-old daughter, Birdie, on the sidelines of a soccer field.

Wearing a sleek all-black outfit, featuring a dress layered with a jacket and a standout star-studded bag, Simpson looked chic yet effortlessly mom-ready. With her long hair flowing, oversized sunglasses in place, and a smile lighting up her face, she wrapped an arm around her youngest daughter.

“JS 2.0 wardrobe for all dem soccer moms,” she captioned, giving fans a glimpse into her playful side as she embraced her new sideline style.

Life as a Mom of Three

Simpson’s latest post comes as she navigates life as a mother to three children: daughters Maxwell, 13, Birdie, 6, and son Ace, 12, whom she shares with ex-husband Eric Johnson. The pair announced their split earlier this year after a decade of marriage, but Simpson continues to highlight family as her top priority.

On a recent appearance on "The Jennifer Hudson Show," she opened up about just how musically talented her kids are. “My youngest can belt her brains out… she’s got the power,” Simpson said, adding that Maxwell and Ace both have perfect pitch. She laughed about being outshined by her own children’s natural abilities, admitting, “I’m like, ‘Wait, I can’t even do that riff.’”

More than their gifts, though, Simpson made it clear what matters most: “I love being a mother. They teach me more than I teach them.”

Finding Herself Again Through Music

Motherhood may be at the heart of her life, but Simpson hasn’t left her music behind. Over the summer, she spoke on "Today with Jenna & Friends" about recording her new EPs, "Nashville Canyon, Pt. 1" and "Pt. 2". Moving to Nashville gave her the clarity she needed during a time of personal transition.

“I thought I was going to be doing this inspirational type of record, but it ended up leaning more towards, ‘How do I get through this moment?’” she said. “My whole life completely changed while making this record… but there are blessings in the pain.”

That resilience is something Simpson hopes to instill in her children. “I want my daughters and my son to know that, no matter what we go through in life, nothing can take us down,” she shared. “As long as we are who we are and we know our purpose, we’ll always rise.”
