Seeing your ex can be a little awkward, but when you share kids and are committed to coparenting, it's necessary. Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are keeping to their promise of putting their children first, and this week, they reunited to support their daughter.
The formerly married couple came together at a local park to watch their daughter, Honor, play tennis.
A source told Daily Mail that the Honey star did not "acknowledge" her former husband when he arrived and "ignored him the entire match.”
They were spotted sitting with some space from each other during the match, but were photographed walking together at one point. The insider told the outsiders that they sat between them, and they didn't speak until the end of the match, "when Cash came up and asked Jessica to take a walk with him into the park.”
A new family dynamic
Alba and Warren share Honor, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7. The whole family has been adjusting to a new normal since their divorce in February.
The patriarch moved out of the family home, which they sold, and Alba purchased a $4.75 million Spanish-style Beverly Hills sanctuary for her and the kids to call home.
Amid the changes, the former couple has always made it clear that their kids are their "highest priority." "We are moving forward with love and kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family," Alba wrote in a statement she posted to Instagram.
Moving on
They've both also jumped back into dating. While Alba has moved on with Danny Ramirez, Warren has been spotted with two young twenty-year-olds for the last couple of months.
A source told Us Weekly that Alba and Warren are going to make sure they protect their kids amid the new partners. "They are incredibly protective of their kids’ privacy and well-being, so introducing new partners would be taken very slowly and only once a relationship is stable and serious,” the insider explained.
And while some people might see Warren’s age-gap relationships as a bit off, a source told Us Weekly, “The age difference [with their younger partners] is not a big deal. They think it’s common in Hollywood, so there’s no issue. They are cool with each other dating,” they added.
