Cazzu says her daughter might face challenges in the future: Here's why

Cazzu doesn’t romanticize the reality her daughter will face

Motherhood has transformed Cazzu in ways that go beyond the spotlight, music charts, or even her edgy reputation as one of Argentina’s most powerful voices in urban music. These days, Julieta Emilia Cazzuchelli—better known as Cazzu—has one mission above all else, and it is protecting the values of her two-year-old daughter, Inti.

In a heartfelt conversation with Marie Claire Colombia, the artist revealed how deeply motherhood has shaped her perspective on life and what she envisions for her daughter’s future. While balancing her career and raising a child with fellow musician Christian Nodal, Cazzu’s focus is on Inti’s heart, and values matter more than fame, success, or legacy.

A Future Built on Values

“It’s hard for me to imagine Inti grown up,” Cazzu admitted. “I feel she’s going to have such a different life from mine, that the only thing I care about is preserving her values.”

For the 31-year-old singer, raising a child in the public eye comes with its own set of challenges. Inti is already “the daughter of” two globally recognized artists, and Cazzu knows that navigating such a label won’t be easy. Still, her wish is that her daughter remains kind, respectful, and unshaken by injustice.

For Cazzu, the future is less about the industry, fame, or expectations.

“She should be whoever she wants to be,” Cazzu said. “But also someone who cares about others, who values family, who doesn’t fall into evil, and who doesn’t let injustices defeat her.”

Growing Up as “The Daughter Of”

Cazzu doesn’t romanticize the reality her daughter will face. She understands that Inti may encounter unique struggles because of her parents’ fame. “She’s going to grow up with many other kinds of injustices, like being seen as ‘the daughter of,’” the singer noted. “That’s going to be a path we’ll build little by little. I don’t want to get ahead of myself.”

At the same time, Cazzu hopes that Inti grows up with pride, not pressure. “I hope she feels proud of the mom she has,” she added.

Motherhood Inspiring a New Era of Music

Beyond her reflections on motherhood, Cazzu shared that 2025 has been a defining year for her career. After stepping back from the industry to embrace her new role as a mom, she has returned with more strength and creativity than ever.

What shines through Cazzu’s reflections is the way she balances her dual worlds.

“I’m very happy, I’m a mom, I released my new album,” she said with excitement. “It’s been a year full of new experiences for me—I filmed a movie, changed my music a little. I love it. I’m in this moment of discoveries.”

A Daughter’s Admiration

Perhaps what moves Cazzu the most is how her little girl already expresses love and admiration. With a mix of innocence and wonder, Inti constantly reminds her mother just how powerful their bond is.

“When I put on a dress and shoes and she looks at me and says, ‘Wow, mamá,’ it melts me,” Cazzu shared warmly. “Or when I have something on my nails, she says, ‘Let me see,’ and then, ‘Wow, mamá.’”

She is not trying to mold Inti into a mirror of herself, but rather to guide her with love, values, and the freedom.

For Cazzu, those small gestures are proof that her daughter not only sees her as a star on stage but also as her hero at home.

Inti’s Strong Personality

Even at two years old, Inti is already showing signs of independence and determination. According to her mom, she is not easily convinced or swayed. “Something that really surprises me about her is that you can’t convince her, you can’t mold her,” Cazzu said, laughing. “If she doesn’t like something, she just says, ‘No like,’ and I realize it’s out of my hands. She has her own personality—may God help me.”

This fierce streak doesn’t worry Cazzu; instead, it reassures her that her daughter is growing into her own person, someone strong enough to face life on her terms.

A Balance Between Stardom and Motherhood

What shines through Cazzu’s reflections is the way she balances her dual worlds: a career that demands constant reinvention and a daughter who gives her life a deeper meaning. She is not trying to mold Inti into a mirror of herself, but rather to guide her with love and the freedom to be whoever she chooses to be.

For Cazzu, the future is less about the industry, fame, or expectations. It’s about raising a little girl who knows her worth, holds on to her values, and grows up feeling proud of her roots and her mother.

And in that vision, both the artist and the mom find their greatest inspiration.
