How Harry Styles and Zoë Kravitz took their relationship to the next level in Berlin

When Zoë Kravitz showed up to support Harry Styles at the Berlin Marathon, it wasn’t just a sweet gesture. It was a clear signal that their relationship has moved into a new phase.

The 36-year-old actress was spotted cheering on the singer, 31, as he crossed the finish line of the 26.2-mile race with a personal best of 2:59:13. But it’s what happened after the race that has people talking, as Zoë stayed in Berlin with him.

Insiders close to the couple say this isn’t just a casual fling. “This is really a sign of just how serious things are with them,” a source told The Sun. “He’s spent a lot of time in the city and it’s really special that he’s getting to show Zoe his secret life there.”

Running the Berlin Marathon under the alias Sted Sarandos, Harry kept a low profile. Despite his mustache and efforts to go incognito, the presence of Zoë by his side drew attention.

From Rome to New York: 

Their romance reportedly began in August with a romantic walk through Rome, but their jet-setting has only expanded. Since then, they’ve been spotted together in Tuscany, London, New York, and now Berlin, all without trying to hide their affection.

While their coordinated outfits and public strolls might suggest a PR trail, sources and eyewitnesses insist there’s real chemistry behind the polished appearances. “They were walking hand-in-hand and acting very in love while throughout the city,” one onlooker told Parade. Another added, “They were constantly kissing but trying to keep a low-profile.”

Signs they are getting serious:

Styles, who is in Berlin to work on his fourth studio album (expected in 2027), seems to have brought Kravitz into his inner circle, not just socially, but creatively.

“It’s no secret that Harry is making his new album in Berlin and he’s been getting lots of inspiration from the music scene there,” the insider shared. “The fact he wanted Zoe to join him just shows how important she is as part of the creative bubble process for him and how much he wants her to be part of every aspect of his life. He doesn't share his music with just anyone.”

Meeting the family:

Earlier this month in New York, the couple were seen dining at the exclusive Cut restaurant inside the Four Seasons Hotel, not just with friends, but with Kravitz’s legendary father, Lenny Kravitz. It was reportedly a successful introduction.

“Friends of Lenny say he is very protective of Zoe, but it really seemed like he enjoyed meeting Harry,” a source told People. “From what people could tell, he thought Harry was polite, down to earth and genuinely interested in getting to know the family. They were laughing a lot at lunch, and it came across that Lenny appreciated Harry’s sense of humour. He likes when someone can keep things light.”

Their stylish outings:

From New York streets to Berlin cafes like ACID Mitte, the pair has been seen keeping close and making no effort to fully hide their bond. “They might not want to think it is, but surprise, surprise, it is getting interesting,” said a source quoted by the Daily Mail. 

“They both like each other, and friends don't know who likes each other more, but it is turning into something more than just a casual situation.”

Friends are reportedly convinced that the couple is “kidding themselves” if they think this is just a fling.

“Even with the lack of labels, or labels that aren't official boyfriend and girlfriend status, they are just kidding themselves. Their friends see this could be something special, and if they want to make it into that, they should. No reason to play games.”

Harry's new life chapter:

Styles has kept relatively quiet about his personal life since his split from Olivia Wilde in 2022. Sources told Parade that he even recorded an entire album about the breakup, only to shelve it later.

“After his breakup with Olivia, Harry recorded an album all about heartbreak that got scrapped,” said the insider. “They were all really sad songs, and he realized it wasn’t his typical type of work. He was heartbroken over the split and ultimately decided not to release it.”

Since then, Styles has been linked to model Emily Ratajkowski, whom he was seen kissing in Tokyo, and actress Taylor Russell, with whom he had a brief romance from June 2023 to May 2024.
