While the President and First Lady of the United States were across the pond for their state visit to the UK, the Vice President and Second Lady spent time with one royal couple back home in the states. JD Vance and Usha Vance welcomed Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa of Jordan to the Vice Presidential Residence on Sept. 18.

The American couple hosted Queen Rania's 31-year-old son and his wife for dinner during Hussein's working visit to Washington, D.C. According to the Office of the Vice President, JD and the Crown Prince "discussed the enduring partnership between Jordan and the United States and mutual efforts to promote regional peace" at dinner.

The following day, the Royal Hashemite Court shared a picture of the two couples smiling as they posed together for a photo. Alongside the image, the court wrote: "Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein attended a banquet hosted by United States Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance in Washington, DC, on Thursday, in honour of Their Royal Highnesses visit to the #US #Jordan."

Rajwa looked chic for the dinner wearing a floral print shirt and matching midi skirt from McQueen, via the Rania Rajwa Style Instagram account, which she accessorized with a black belt.

The same day as the Vances' dinner with the Jordanian royals, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump wrapped up their historic, second state visit to the United Kingdom. On Sept. 18, Melania toured Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House and the Royal Library with Queen Camilla at Windsor Castle. The first lady then stepped out for a joint engagement with the Princess of Wales at Frogmore Gardens, where they spent time with Chief Scout, Dwayne Fields, and members of the Scouts’ Squirrels program as they learned about nature to achieve their "Go Wild" badge.

On Air Force One on Sept. 18, the president was asked what the best part of the visit was, to which he replied, "I think being with King Charles. He’s a wonderful guy. I got to know him very well. I knew him before, but now I know him a lot better. The artwork. I saw more paintings than any human being has ever saw and statues. But they treated us great. They treated our country great. I view that as being really respect for our country the way they did it because last night was beautiful."
