Arnold Schwarzenegger had a proud dad moment while speaking at Patrick Schwarzenegger's wedding

Arnold Schwarzenegger is pretty proud of his son. Earlier this month, Patrick Schwarzenegger married Abby Champion in a ceremony in Idaho, with Arnold sharing a moving speech at one point during the ceremony. One of the wedding's guests, Rob Lowe, recently talked about the wedding and some of the proud words Schwarzenegger had for his son and their guests.

"'It's good to see everybody here,'" recalled Lowe in an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel. "'It's a wonderful day. And Patrick is killing it now with The White Lotus.'" 

Lowe revealed that Schwarzenegger went through Patrick's entire filmography, complimenting his son's work. He then addressed some of the guests, which included some of Patrick's "White Lotus" costars and some of the celebrity friends he's made through the years working in the industry.

When asked if Schwarzenegger had pulled out some of his famous movie lines for the speech, Lowe said,  "No catchphrase. I think you have to pay extra for the catchphrase."

Lowe shared more details of the wedding and his relationship with Patrick, revealing that they've known each other for years now. "I've known Patrick since he was a little boy," he said. "It was a beautiful wedding. I'm at that stage where all my kids' friends are getting married."

Patrick and Abby's wedding celebration was a three-day event in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, with guests enjoying a rehearsal dinner, a barbecue, and the wedding ceremony itself. 

In an interview with Vogue, Champion shared some of the wedding photos, including images of herself alongside Patrick and his parents, Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver. 

The images were taken on the day of the barbecue, which had a Western theme, showing them all wearing cowboy hats, boots, and denim, except the wife, who wore a white dress that she matched with a black cowboy hat. “I still can’t believe it’s over—it all flew by like a dream,” said Champion. “I’m so excited to start this next chapter with Patrick.”
