As we enter a new season, couples are making up and breaking up. News broke today that Shailene Woodley is single again following the end of her months-long relationship with Emily in Paris star Lucas Bravo. The couple has made their breakup Instagram official - scrubbing each other entirely from their profiles.
Woodley and Bravo first went public with their romance back in March, when they were spotted enjoying time together in Paris, where Bravo films the hit Netflix show. They became Instagram official on April 30, when the 37-year-old actor shared photos of their trip to Slab City, California. Those photos have since been deleted.
The same goes for Woodley, who wiped months' worth of posts, including a May 4 photo of Bravo at Disneyland for Star Wars Day. As if that wasn't enough evidence, a source confirmed the breakup to PEOPLE.
When did they break up?
The exact timing of the split remains unclear. However, they were photographed together as recently as August. On August 4, the pair was spotted on the Emily in Paris set in the French capital, suggesting the breakup happened shortly afterward.
Just a few weeks after that appearance, a source told PEOPLE that Woodley was "thriving" and described the relationship as “a breath of fresh air for her.” The insider also noted that Woodley’s friends loved Bravo, with the source calling him “uncomplicated, kind, not pretentious, and emotionally present.”
Bravo seemed to share those feelings. When asked about their relationship during an interview on April 3, he said he was "really happy."
It was the first big relationship for Woodley, who was at one point getting ready to walk down the aisle with her ex, Aaron Rodgers. The couple split in April 2022, with an insider telling E! the “Big Little Lies” star tried to give it another shot, but she quickly saw that everything was on his terms and nothing was going to change.” Following the split she seemingly referenced it in an interview with Outside Magazine recounting a situation which she explained "felt like I lost my soul, my self, my happiness, my joy.
As for Bravo, he was linked to Alba Baptista in 2021, although it was never confirmed. She is now married to Chris Evans.
