Jessica Alba is a one-toned mama. The 44-year-old actress is the first to admit that working out "sucks," but she always commits to sweating, which she will occasionally share with her fans on social media. This week, the Honey star was spotted shopping alone in Beverly Hills, and her abs and arms will make you want to get a set in.
Alba was photographed rocking a fitted brown sleeveless crop top with high-waisted, loose-fitting blue jeans that she kept up with a dark brown woven belt.
She was also spotted with a chunky brown cardigan that matched her shirt and brown pointed-toe shoes. The always fashionable diva accessorized with tortoise shell sunglasses, gold hoop earrings, a necklace, and a brown over-the-shoulder purse.
Alba will continue to enjoy her life in Beverly Hills after she and her ex-husband, Cash Warren, found a buyer for their family home. Last week, it was revealed that she dropped $4.75 million on a beautiful Spanish-style mansion tucked away in the heart of the wealthy city.
She was later spotted grabbing lunch in the same outfit in West Hollywood with her friend Dakota Johnson.
Her outings come after she looked loved up with Danny Ramirez at the US Open men’s singles final in New York City on Sunday, September 7.
What does Alba do to work out?
Alba does many things to stay in shape, focusing on strength training. In 2015, she told PopSugar, "I'm not going to lie. Working out sucks." Which is why she loves taking classes with other people, and that can keep her "motivated and accountable." She's opened up about her love of power yoga, which is a mix of hot yoga, strength training, and spin.
She also works out at home with a trainer. She gave fans a look into her grueling morning workouts last week with Nike global trainer Betina Gozo Shimonek. In the video posted on her Instagram reels, she ran through a routine built around two full-body trisets, plus a warm-up, medicine ball slams, and a cool-down to wrap it all up.
The lineup mixes classics like Bulgarian split squats and Copenhagen planks with creative combos like a single-leg glute bridge hold with a chest press, tall kneeling curl to overhead press, and the bird-dog row. The all-in-one workout hits strength, stability, and power.
While fans always remember Alba looking incredible, in the same 2015 interview, she admitted that she wasn't "truly confident" unle she had her daughters Honor and Haven. "I felt more comfortable in my own skin after they were born. Plus, if I want them to be happy with their bodies, I need to walk the walk," she explained.
