It’s official! Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova are getting ready to welcome their fourth child, and the news has fans happier than ever. After days of speculation and paparazzi photos hinting at Anna’s pregnancy, the Spanish superstar has finally spoken up, giving his most heartfelt reaction to becoming a father once again. Our sister magazine ¡HOLA! Spain was the first to confirm the good news.
While performing at the Feria Nacional Potosina in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, Enrique was cornered by the press shortly after landing from Miami. Despite the usual whirlwind of attention, the singer appeared calm, warm, and ready to share a glimpse of his personal happiness.
When asked directly about Anna’s pregnancy, Enrique didn’t shy away. With a big smile, he admitted: “(I feel) a lot of responsibility, but happy and very excited.” Those few words were enough to end the guessing game and confirm that he and Anna are indeed expanding their family.
And while a cheeky reporter tried to get him to reveal whether he was hoping for a boy or a girl, Enrique decided to keep that detail under wraps, playfully leaving the scene while still radiating joy.
A Triumphant Return to Mexico
For Enrique, the trip to Mexico was more than just about music. It was also a homecoming. The singer, who was born in Madrid but spent crucial years of his childhood in Mexico, seemed deeply moved by the welcome he received.
“Incredible, super happy. Mexico for me, you know perfectly well that I was born here, this is where it all began. I think today’s concert was one of my favorites,” he confessed.
The concert was a celebration in itself, with fans giving him roaring ovations from start to finish. True to his reputation as one of the most approachable stars in Latin music, Enrique didn’t hesitate to hug fans, wave, and make eye contact with those cheering him on.
The Growing Iglesias-Kournikova Family
Enrique and Anna’s love story has been one of the most private in the entertainment world, but their family life speaks volumes. Their twins, Nicholas and Lucy, are now seven, while little Mary is five. The arrival of baby number four will make their household even livelier.
The couple was recently spotted boating around Miami with their children, where Anna’s casual outfits and visible baby bump sparked the first wave of speculation. Kournikova, now halfway through, was photographed days later in Miami looking sporty and casual, her baby bump clearly visible as she took her kids to school.
With this baby on the way, Enrique’s mom, Isabel Preysler, will have nine grandkids, including Alejandro and Sofía (Chábeli Iglesias's children), Miguel, Mateo, and Martín (Ana Boyer and Fernando Verdasco's kids), and Enrique and Anna’s little ones.
Enrique and Anna have been together for over 24 years. The pair met in 2001 on the set of his hit music video “Escape.”
