Ricky Martin has witnessed how quickly his twins, Valentino (Tino) and Matteo, have grown, as they recently celebrated their 17th birthday in the middle of a Caribbean paradise. Of the two, Tino has a bigger presence on social media, often sharing glimpses of his life. Recently, the young man surprised his followers by revealing his new look, a style that undoubtedly highlights his resemblance to his famous father.
A couple of days ago, Tino took to his Instagram stories to share a spontaneous new selfie taken in front of a mirror. It seems the teenager wanted to show off the results of his intense workout routines, as he posed shirtless, putting his toned muscles on display.
However, Tino’s fit figure wasn’t the only thing that caught attention. His photo also revealed his new haircut. The young man, who usually wore his slightly long, light brown hair, appeared with a textured French crop cut, keeping some of his length, but with shorter and more defined sides and nape.
Valentino posed with a serious expression, staring straight at his phone screen, wearing his signature glasses. He didn’t add a caption to his photo and only set the mood with the track "New World" by Valious and Andrei!
After that first picture, on August 27, he shared another selfie that gave an even clearer view of his new look, this time without his glasses.
Tino’s new style, along with the growing maturity in his facial features, undeniably emphasized his resemblance to Ricky Martin.
Like his brother Matteo, Valentino inherited the charm and presence of his famous father, long considered one of the most handsome Latinos in the entertainment industry.
Apparently, the Puerto Rican singer has inspired Valentino with his gym discipline, as the teenager had already shared other photos in the past showing his physical progress thanks to his workout routines. Back in May, after Ricky posted a picture flaunting his muscles, Tino followed suit and did the same.
Ricky Martin and his close bond with his twins
In March 2024, Ricky Martin opened up about his relationship with his sons, Valentino and Matteo, saying that he often travels the world with them while balancing his work commitments. “It’s wonderful. They don’t want to leave, they’re always with me. I go on tour and they come along because we have tutors who also travel with us. After the pandemic, Zoom really made things easier,” he said in an interview with Despierta América (Univision).
“I like that we’re so close, that they ask all the questions they want, and that the answers are always transparent and truthful. And of course, I also have Lucía and Renn… I have the energy, and we’re healthy, so everything is wonderful,” he added, referring to his 6- and 5-year-old children, whom he shares with his ex-husband Jwan Yosef.
“Everything is a surprise; you never know what’s going to happen. That’s the situation with parenthood. Every day is different,” the Puerto Rican singer reflected in 2024 during an interview with Nicaraguan host Martha Debayle. “If you want surprises in your life, then you have to be a dad or a mom, because you truly never, ever know what’s going to happen.”
