MEX–SJU–MEX–SJU–MEX. All in one weekend filled with concerts at the Choliseo, and then back to Mexico City in record time for the Teleton. 💀”

RBD’s lasting legacy

For those who grew up in the early 2000s, RBD wasn’t just a band; it was a cultural phenomenon. Their catchy pop anthems, high-energy choreography, and undeniable chemistry, made Alfonso, Maite, Anahí, Dulce María, Christopher Uckermann, and Christian Chávez international superstars. Even after their 2009 breakup, the group’s influence never faded.

RBD reunited in 2020 and later launched a global tour in 2023, though notably without Herrera. The actor opted not to return to the stage, choosing instead to hold onto the memories of youth and the remarkable run the band once had.
