The beauty pageant world is mourning after Kseniya Alexandrova's death, Miss Universe Russia 2017. According to reports, the beauty queen died at age 30 following a car accident in July and had remained hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Sklifosovsky Research Institute.

According to RG, the crash happened in the Tver region. Alexandrova was in the passenger seat while her husband was driving when their car collided with a moose that ran across the road. The impact was so severe that she suffered a traumatic brain injury.
