Eiza González is making her dreams come true. The Mexican actress is opening up about purchasing her first ranch, a dream that she's had ever since she was a young girl growing up in Mexico City.
In an appearance on "The Kelly Clarkson Show," González revealed that she had just purchased a ranch and was starting to build it. "I'm at the beginning of my ranch girl [era]," she said.
In January 2023, González bought a 110-acre compound in Ojai, California, for $4 million, located around 80 miles away from Los Angeles. According to a property report, the home is equipped with a four-bedroom and two-bathroom guest house with a laundry and kitchen. The home also has an art studio and a two-car garage.
While talking to Clarkson, González revealed that she's been an animal lover her whole life, and has owned all sorts of different animals, even when she didn't have the space for them.
"I started my ranch in Mexico City. It was not optimal. It was an apartment really," she said, prompting laughs from the audience.
"I had crazy animals there. I had a toucan, I had a duck. I had a cageless hamster. My brother was like, 'You're psychotic. Why is there poop everywhere?' and he chose to live in his bedroom too, so he hated him even more."
She also revealed that her TikTok obsession is miniature animals, including cows and pigs. She shared a video of an adorable tea cup pig that caused the whole audience to squeal. You can check out the full video below.

"I had a hamster, a duck, two dogs, a chicken, a ferret, and my dad had a squirrel, all in my house. My mom owned horses."
She also mentioned her TikTok obsession. "I only follow three accounts on TikTok, and one of them is this girl who owns a farm," she said. "She has a bajillion random animals. And I’m like, 'You are living my life.'"
