Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble have been going strong since 2014 and have had a relatively clean slate when it comes to headlines. However, their recent actions in public have fans wondering if there is trouble in paradise. But a source claims that their tense moments caught on camera are nothing out of the ordinary.
Over the weekend, the 69-year-old businesswoman was spotted in what looked like a heated exchange with the 44-year-old. An insider told Daily Mail that, like any couple, "Kris and Corey will have these fights from time to time as they get on each other’s nerves."
The couple was at Beyoncé’s final “Cowboy Carter” show in Las Vegas during the tense moment that resulted in Kris walking away from Booker in the VIP section.
According to the insider, Gamble, who usually "lets her be," had reached his breaking point. "Kris is not the easiest person to tame and keep at ease, and Corey usually lets her be," they said, adding, "But sometimes, he can’t take it and hits back, and it all kicks off.. This recent exchange was one of those moments."
While Kris probably wouldn't like the idea of anyone trying to tame her, the source assured that they're just a couple that get sick of each other at times."
They weren't the only ones involved. An eyewitness told Page Six that Khloé Kardashian was involved. After Kris left, they said she looked like she was trying to “reassure” Gamble, who was "frustrated."
Their recent squabble comes after what looked like another fight at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Venice, Italy. In a video published by DailyMail, they appeared to be arguing about a water taxi.
Nicola Hickling, a lip reader, told the outlet she believed the fight was because Jenner didn't want to share transportation with other guests. “What are you doing? Do you need to talk?” she allegedly told him. “I told you … for God’s sake … I’d like to travel alone.”
No couple is perfect, and arguments are bound to happen. People just don't usually have cameras pointed at them when they do. The Daily Mail's source said these instances are just an honest moment. "These brief bust-ups are probably the most honest and relatable trait she has with people," they explained.
What the family thinks of Corey
Things haven't always been smooth when it comes to Corey and Kris' relationship. People in her life have been open about their skepticism. Kim Kardashian's ex-husband, Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, even confronted him about it on the show in 2019. “Kanye texts Corey something along the lines of, ‘Look, we don’t know you, we’ve never met any of your family members,’" Kim explained on the show.
Koko had Ye's back, and Kris ended up hurt by the situation. "Nobody really slows down enough to take a look at it from a bird's-eye view of my life. I want you to recognize that when you do question my relationship with Corey, it isn't okay and it hurts feelings," she told Khloe, who later apologized. "I think what you guys don't realize is Corey is really taking care of me like no one ever has in my entire life," Kris continued.
There was also an argument in 2020 between Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner that involved Gamble. The sisters were fighting on camera, and he tried to separate them and get Kendall to go in another SUV.
Kendall claimed that Gamble said “F**k you” when she didn't want to go in the other car. “This man is wild! He really just said ‘Fuck you’ to me,” she told Kourtney Kardashian.
When she confronted him over the phone, she told him, "You said ‘F**k you’ to my face. You can't even say ‘I’m sorry.’” Gamble didn't let up. “Kendall, you’ve been a rude person for years, man. You’re an asshole when you feel like it. You get riled up for no reason," he said. They didn't talk to each other for some time, but reconciled two seasons later.
