Brooke Hogan is mourning the loss of her father, Hulk Hogan, in public and in private. But unlike the others in his orbit, she won’t be part of the financial aftermath.

According to TMZ, Brooke asked to be removed from Hulk’s will back in 2023, long before he passed. That’s not something most people do when there’s a “massive estate” involved. She’ll only receive a small portion from a life insurance policy that sources told the outlet she is "grateful" for and will use to put towards her kid's college funds.

Her reasoning was simple: she didn’t trust anyone around him. And after years of tension over the people in his circle, Brooke chose peace over profit. She reportedly asked his financial manager to take her out of the will after years of disagreement with her dad.

But if you read her recent statement, the bigger picture starts to come into focus. Taking to Instagram, Brooke shared a screenshot of her notes app. “My dad’s blood runs through my veins... Our bond has never broken."

She slammed reports that they had a "big fight" before he passed. “We never had a ‘big fight.’ My father and I never ‘fought.’ It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand," she wrote. She said the bond became “covered in a thick veil," and there was a quiet disconnection. "It was like there was a force field around him that I couldn’t get through," Brooke continued.

She was by his side for decades, through 25 surgeries. Then one day, she says she wasn’t invited in anymore. “During the last two years, I had to step away to protect my heart. My husband stayed open, quietly reaching out to my dad without me knowing, trying to find a safe way back in for me. After my father passed, I read those messages, some answered, some ignored… but all of them broke my heart."

She also gently touched on his "financial success" for others. "In the end, he continued to be a financial success for many. This was the last thing I wanted for him — he’s been working and tearing his body apart his entire life," she wrote.

TMZ notes that it's unclear who will inherit the wrestler's entire estate and all other assets like trademarks and intellectual property.

Following her initial statement, she shared another post that read, "My Dearest Daddy, You were my everything, and I will always be your girl. I am PROUD to be your daughter — for all the love, light, and goodness you brought into this world. Thank you for choosing me in this lifetime, and for loving me so deeply. Our bond is eternal. That truth brings me comfort and hope, even in your absence."
