The countdown may have unofficially begun! Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are reportedly planning to say “I do” within weeks, and in classic Hollywood style, the event promises to be both intimate and star-studded.

While Benny Blanco recently joked on 'Therapuss' that “We both need to chill. We’ve both been working so much,” it seems the planning may be more advanced than he let on. Insiders tell Daily Mail that the wedding will take place this September in Montecito, California, and will span two full days.

This wouldn't be the first time the couple choose to deflect attention from their plans, as Selena herself stated that she was not planning on releasing more music, just weeks before the release of her latest album.

“Selena and Benny’s wedding is going to be a two-day event in Montecito in September,” one source revealed. “Everyone invited has been asked to bring overnight bags to stay for the weekend.”

Despite being a private affair reserved for family and friends, the guest list includes plenty of A-listers. Among those expected is none other than Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, as well as Selena’s 'Only Murders in the Building' co-stars and top-tier music names from Benny’s inner circle and collaborators.

“Although it’s for friends and family only, many on the friends list are huge celebrities including Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, Selena’s co-stars from ‘Only Murders In The Building,’ and music superstars who are Benny’s friends and some he’s also worked with,” added the insider.

For the singer, the timing of the ceremony appears to be more strategic than spontaneous. A second source noted that a September wedding fits neatly between the couple’s professional commitments.

“Selena loves being engaged but she has been dreaming of being married forever,” they said. “At the end of the year it gets busy, not only for them, but also for everyone they want to attend.”

And while it’s not officially “The Taylor Swift Wedding,” Selena is reportedly making an effort to ensure her longtime bestie can be there. “Selena is not having her wedding to accommodate Taylor,” a third source clarified, “but she wants her to attend and she would love for her to be able to go with Travis.”

The desire to include Swift isn’t surprising, considering the two have maintained a famously close friendship over the years, frequently attending events together, sharing selfies, and supporting each other both personally and professionally.
