Sofia Vergara is living her best life this summer. She's been traveling and sharing incredible swimsuit moments, and at 52, she still has one of the best bikini bodies in Hollywood.
On Tuesday, the actress and businesswoman shared a sizzling carousal in a one-piece for her new collaboration, and the toned and tanned icon looked incredible. The post earned over 250k likes in less than 8 hours as she took in golden hour.
As for how Vergara has continued to maintain such a picture-perfect figure, a Daily Mail piece talked to functional nutritionist Monica Partier, who shared her thoughts.
While Partier has never worked with Vergar, she made general observations, noting that the actress has said in the past that she avoids carbs, prefers whole foods like grilled fish and steamed veggies, and snacks on raw nuts and fruit.
Vergara tries to eat healthy, but she's not letting it control her. In 2024, she told PEOPLE she tries to eat a "balanced diet when I can, or I don’t eat hamburger, pizza, fattening things." Eating healthy lets her enjoy what she cares about - sweets.
The Bent star said she even considers it an addiction, and that she sought help for it. "Well, I have an addiction to sweets, to sugar," she said, adding, "I have come to terms with it because I have tried many things, even hypnotism, and it doesn’t work."
She's very open about her love of cake, too. "It’s always cake," she said, noting she doesn't have favorites. "I mean any kind. But I do like dulce de leche, it’s like a caramel. Usually, they don’t do it that great here in L.A. I haven’t found anyone, but when I go to Miami or Latin America, they’re great."
She also works out, which you can tell by her figure, but she keeps it light because she has bad knees. "I’ve worked out kind of like an older person my whole life," she said. "But I am constant. I do it often because I can’t do spinning or any of those sexy exercises now."
