Kelly Osbourne is a soon-to-be bride! The 40-year-old shares a son, Sidney, with her longtime boyfriend, Sid Wilson, but the couple never tied the knot. That will change soon because the Slipknot artist proposed over the weekend, and it couldn’t have been on a more special day.
© @kellyosbourneKelly’s dad, Ozzy Osbourne, performed his last show with Black Sabbath at the "Back To The Beginning" farewell concert on July 5th, following his Parkinson's diagnosis. That same night, Sid got down on one knee and proposed.
The keyboard started his speech sweet, “You know I love you more than anything in the world,” he said before the rock icon chimed in hilariously, “F--- off, you’re not marrying my daughter.”
Given Ozzy's reaction before Sid could even pop the question, he knew the proposal was coming, and probably even gave his blessing.
Kelly and the rest of their family and friends laughed as Sid powered through with the proposal, “Nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life with you. So, in front of your family and all of our friends, Kelly, will you marry me?”
She looked shocked as she looked at the ring, and they shared a sweet embrace and kiss. He proposed with a custom ring by Mouawad, which the brand explained was inspired by her nickname, “Honeybee." The ring is set in 18K yellow gold with white and yellow diamonds, citrine accents, and a round white diamond in the center.
What adds an extra layer of specialness to the moment is that Kelly would probably never have met Sid if it weren't for her dad. They have known each other for over 20 years, first meeting in 1999 when Slipknot and Ozzy headlined Ozzfest.
After decades of friendship, things got romantic, and Kelly confirmed their relationship in 2022. They welcomed their son, Sidney, in January 2023.
