Karol G brought major star power to Paris Haute Couture Week, but not everyone gave her the credit she deserved. After dazzling in a couture gown at the Schiaparelli Fall/Winter 2025/2026 show, the Colombian superstar was left out of a fashion magazine's Instagram caption, despite sitting front row alongside Dua Lipa, Cardi B, and Hunter Schafer.
Fans quickly noticed the omission and voiced their disappointment in the comments, and joining them was none other than Karol’s friend and fellow performer Ricky Martin. The Puerto Rican icon called out the snub with a perfectly pointed message.
© Karol G / Instagram“Excuse me, but who are the ladies sitting next to [Karol G]???” he wrote under the post. His comment immediately stood out as a show of loyalty and reminded the internet that Karol G is just as deserving of recognition as her fellow A-listers.
"Why am I not surprised you decided to fully ignore that Karol is sitting right there….. smh," Mexican star Eiza Gonzalez also commented.
© InstagramDespite the Parisian rain, Karol lit up the Schiaparelli show with a look that channeled the glamour of 1990s supermodels. She wore a sculptural gown with a heart-shaped neckline, designed with surrealist elements in tribute to Elsa Schiaparelli’s legacy.
The dress featured three-dimensional floral embroidery, a beaded fringe that added delicate movement, and a sweeping white train that trailed behind her on the steps of the Petit Palais.
