The countdown is on! The reigning Miss Universe, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, is set to grace Ecuador this July to crown the next national beauty queen at the Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 pageant. This marks a significant moment for the contestants and fans of pageantry, fashion, and global glamor.

Victoria Kjaer Theilvig made headlines in 2024 when she became the first-ever Miss Universe from Denmark. At 22 years old, this model and business graduate from Søborg has already broken records and shattered expectations. With her degree in Business and Marketing and real-world experience in the jewelry industry, Victoria is the total package.

But beyond the tiara and runway lights, she’s also deeply committed to youth empowerment, primarily through sports. Her work in community-based leadership programs proves that she’s more than a symbol, making her upcoming role in Ecuador even more meaningful.

This year’s competition features 20 contestants from every corner of Ecuador, each one ready to claim the national crown and represent the country on the international stage. They follow in the footsteps of Mara Topic, who proudly made it to the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2024, putting Ecuador firmly on the global pageant map.

The CNB Ecuador organization, led by Tahiz Panus, is crafting a week of unforgettable moments. It kicks off with the official presentation of candidates on July 11, set against the backdrop of one of Guayaquil’s historic and tourist-friendly locations.

Then comes the preliminary night, taking place in Cuenca, another jewel in Ecuador’s crown. Known for its colonial architecture and artistic flair, Cuenca adds depth, beauty, and history to the road to the final.

Every element this year, from the diverse contestant pool to the scenic venues, feels intentionally designed to spotlight Ecuador’s beauty, culture, and rising influence in international pageantry.
