The Beckham family drama continues. Over the past week, Nicola Peltz Beckham celebrated her father's 83rd birthday with a post on Instagram, prompting all sorts of comments regarding her husband, Brooklyn Beckham Peltz, and the drama in his family that has developed over the past year.

"happy birthday dad! i am so lucky to be your daughter, you’re the most loving and supportive father i could ever dream of. i love you more than i could ever begin to express - you’re the wind beneath my wings. i loved celebrating you yesterday! thank you for always being there for us - our constant love and support," she captioned the post.

Commenters criticized the fact that Brooklyn seems estranged from his own family, putting some blame on Nicola. While Nicola didn't address these comments directly, she made it clear that she's reading them, liking a few of them.
“The fact people are in this comment section talking bs about someone controlling a GROWN man is absurd,” reads one of the comments that Nicola liked. “The guy is an adult and can make his own decisions, leave them be and stop blaming women for everything.”

Over the past couple of months, Brooklyn has missed many of his family's important dates and celebrations, including his parents' birthdays, including David Beckham's 50th birthday party, and one of Victoria Beckham's most important fashion shows.
According to sources, tensions have existed between the Beckhams and the Peltz-Beckhams for some time now, starting with Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding, where there were rifts due to Nicola's wedding dress and an incident during the wedding party where Marc Anthony referred to Victoria as "the most beautiful woman in the room."
