Kim Kardashian is opening up about a moment she says no one will forget from Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos' lavish wedding in Venice. The Kardashian-Jenner family was part of the multi-day celebration, which included a star-studded guest list, such as Orlando Bloom, Oprah, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sydney Sweeney, and many more.
The reality star described the bride’s walk down the aisle a shared a glimpse at what she called a "magical" ceremony. Taking to Instagram after the June 27 wedding, Kim shared heartfelt words alongside behind-the-scenes photos from the Vogue cover shoot of the newlyweds.
“What a beautiful bride you are,” she wrote, tagging Sánchez. “We all cried watching you walk down the [aisle] in pure bliss!” The celebration unfolded on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, across from St. Mark’s Square, where Kim described the forest venue as “magical.”
She added, “But the love we all felt in the room is what we will never forget and why we all love and support you both so much. Forever rooting for the happiest couple! You deserve it all!”
The three-day extravaganza brought together around 200 guests for what Kim described as a moment filled with “pure bliss.” Lauren walked down the aisle in a Dolce & Gabbana mermaid-style gown that paid tribute to Sophia Loren’s iconic dress in Houseboat (1958).
The lace dress, accented with 180 silk chiffon-covered buttons and a dramatic veil, was custom-made for the occasion. “It went from ‘I want a simple, sexy modern dress’ to ‘I want something that evokes a moment,’” she told Vogue. “I am a different person than I was five years ago.”
The ceremony was followed by a Friday night reception and then a grand pajama-themed party Saturday, called “Dolce Notte," with performances from Usher and DJ Cassidy that went on until 4 a.m.
Lauren made it official on social media shortly after the ceremony, changing her Instagram handle to Lauren Sánchez Bezos and posting the first wedding photo with the caption: “06/27/2025.”
While there had been some concern among Venice locals about the disruption caused by the high-profile events, a source told PEOPLE the city remained “running as normal” throughout the celebrations.
The couple began dating in 2019 and announced their engagement in May 2023. Now, after one of the most extravagant weddings of the year, they are officially husband and wife, and according to Kim, surrounded by “so much love.”
