Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos exchanged vows on the San Giorgio Maggiore island, reports Page Six. Venice is a city that has long attracted many celebrities due to its history and gorgeous setting. The event took place after three days of celebration, with the couple booking five of the most luxurious hotels and hosting all manner of events for their guests.
Over the past week, Bezos and Sanchez have looked happy and gleeful as they celebrated their love, with Sanchez wearing all manner of exclusive looks, including several Schiaparelli dresses.

Sanchez and Bezos were joined by their closest friends and family, including a bevy of notorious celebrities like the Kardashians, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, Tommy Hilfiger, Tom Brady, and many more.

The media personality and journalist reportedly had 28 looks prepared for the occasion, collaborating with some of her favorite designers for her wedding day. She was supported by her kids, Nikko Gonzalez, Evan, and Ella Whitesell.
Bezos was supported by his friends and family, including fellow tech billionaires Bill Gates and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. He was also supported by his dad, Miguel Bezos, who was photographed arriving in Venice. The blended family is now made up of Sanchez, Bezos, and their kids: Nikko, Evan, Ella, and Bezos' four children that he shares with his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott.

The wedding was hosted in Venice, prompting protests from residents in the days leading up to it. The movement was called "No Space for Bezos," and reportedly resulted in a change of venue.
While some locals supported the wedding, claiming that it had a positive impact on the local economy, protestors complained about Bezos' tax payments and the damage wreaked on the island due to increasing levels of tourism.

“If you can rent Venice for your wedding you can pay more taxes," read one of the banners of the protests, per CNN.
Bezos and Sanchez have reportedly donated money to charities and organizations in Venice and have asked their guests to forego gifts, instead encouraging them to make donations.
A new Instagram handle
Sanchez followed up her day of excitement and celebration by sharing some major updates on her social media. She changed her handle and is now officially known as Lauren Sanchez Bezos. She also deleted all of her posts, starting from scratch by sharing the first official photo of her wedding to Bezos.
In it, Sanchez wears a white Dolce & Gabbana gown with lacy long sleeves and a matching veil. She revealed she began dreaming up the perfect dress a year before her wedding, in a meeting in New York with Domenico Dolce.
