Matthew McConaughey proved just how strong his genes are during a rare public outing with his family at Universal Studios Hollywood on June 19.
The Oscar-winning actor was joined by his wife, Camila Alves McConaughey, and their three children—Levi, 16, Vida, 15, and Livingston, 12—for a day of fun at the Los Angeles theme park. The family resemblance was undeniable, with the kids looking like younger versions of their famous parents.
In the rare family photo from their outing, Matthew kept it casual in a blue long-sleeved button-down shirt, khaki shorts, and flip-flops as he posed between his sons. Livingston wore an all-black outfit paired with white sneakers, while daughter Vida opted for a black top and jeans.
Camila, standing beside her lookalike daughter, wore a white mesh top and green athleisure pants. Levi stood next to his mom in a white long-sleeved henley and navy shorts, further highlighting the family’s effortlessly stylish appearance.

While the family rarely makes public appearances together, Matthew has recently been spending more quality time with his eldest son. On June 8, Levi gave fans a glimpse of his debut in The Lost Bus, his first feature film role alongside his dad. He shared the moment on Instagram, writing, “My first role in a feature film.. how cool is that?”
The experience clearly strengthened their bond—even more than it already was. On Father’s Day, June 16, Levi shared a heartfelt message for his dad on Instagram, revealing just how close they are.
"It never gets old, somehow neither do you," Levi wrote. “Happy Father’s Day to papai, father dearest, poperz; dad (who we never call you by) nevertheless you’re the best dad we could ever ask for and we love you for every bit of it. Happy fathers day again to my tennis partner, we sweat it out.”
For Matthew, that strong father-child connection has deeply influenced his life and career.
"Having children, I know, has made me a better artist and a better actor," he told People last year. “Kids see things for the first time all the time. Their questions are innocent. I've become a better storyteller because I have kids.”
