Ivanka Trump’s eldest daughter, Arabella Kushner, made headlines this week after borrowing one of her mother’s designer dresses for a special White House occasion. The 13-year-old stepped out in a white Emilia Wickstead midi dress, which is an elegant look once worn by Ivanka herself during a White House event in 2018.
The family gathered to celebrate a significant milestone. Charles Kushner, Arabella’s grandfather, was officially sworn in as the U.S. Ambassador to France and Monaco. The ceremony, conducted by President Donald Trump alongside Secretary of State Marco Rubio, brought the Trump-Kushner clan together for a rare public appearance, which Ivanka commemorated on Instagram.
“Today, surrounded by family, Charles Kushner was sworn in as the U.S. Ambassador to France and Monaco by @potus and Secretary of State @marcorubio. Congratulations, Ambassador Charles Kushner!" Ivanka wrote. In another post, she wrote, “A special day with the people we love!”
The family posed for photos both in the Oval Office and on the White House lawn, with Arabella standing out in the same sleeveless dress her mother wore seven years prior. The classic design, featuring a mock neck, cap sleeves, and black buttons down the front, was originally styled by Ivanka with matching black accessories.
Arabella's siblings, Joseph, 10, and Theodore, 8, wore traditional suits, while their mother chose a bold, belted red ensemble paired with strappy heels. Their father Jared Kushner and grandparents Charles and Seryl Kushner completed the family photo.
Ivanka also shared a sweet mother-daughter selfie at the historic venue. Ivanka had previously worn the white Wickstead dress to mark the six-month anniversary of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in 2018.
The first daughter is often praised for her polished, classic aesthetic—a style her daughter appears to be embracing. “My style is classic with a modern twist,” Ivanka once told Romy & the Bunnies. “I like to wear pieces that are polished and chic, but I have to find looks that will transition seamlessly throughout the day among my roles as an executive, mother, and a wife.”
She added, “While motherhood hasn’t changed my style, I often find myself being accessorized by Arabella these days – if you see me wearing a hot pink bow in my hair, that’s the work of my little fashionista!”
