Despite their friendship, sources say that Katy Perry won’t be able to attend Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos’ wedding due to prior tour commitments.
Perry is currently touring Australia, with concerts in Perth scheduled for June 22 and 23 and a show in Adelaide on June 26, dates that directly overlap with the June 24–26 wedding.
Interestingly, the latter shows were added to her tour after the initial announcement but still months before the wedding details were public, suggesting no intentional snub.

Still, the timing has raised questions, especially given reports that the couple has hit a rough patch. Perry’s latest album, 143, released in September, reportedly fell short of expectations, and insiders say the disappointing response left her feeling frustrated and stressed
“Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album. It made her very stressed,” a source told PEOPLE. “Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension.” Another insider added, “She was also disappointed in some of the tour reviews. It’s put stress on their relationship.”
While rumors continue to swirl, a source told the Daily Mail that a breakup isn’t imminent: “The rumors of a rough patch are true, but it’s not at the point of no return. They know they must fix things, and they both want to figure it out.”
