Kylie Jenner's fans are obsessed with her King Kylie era from mid-2010, often telling her to bring it back or lose it when she rocks a similar style. But there is one person who never wants to see her putting on that blue wig again - her daughter Stormi.
On Tuesday, the makeup mogul and mother of two shared a hilarious video on TikTok showing a shocked Stormi, who just saw a photo of her mom during the famous era. Her face immediately said it all: shock, confusion, and concern. “Did you dye your hair in that photo?” she asked, clearly trying to make sense of what was in front of her eyes.
Jenner explained, “No, it was a wig. Mommy used to love wearing wigs and colored wigs.” Kylie didn't show the picture, but using context clues it was a photo from 2016 when she was around 18 wearing a blue wig paired with a red outfit. Which made Stormi fashionably disgusted, “A blue wig with the red outfit?" the 6-year-old fashionista asked. "I know. It’s not good.”
And if that wasn’t savage enough, Stormi added a matter-of-fact, “That’s what she gets,” before proudly looking at the camera.
Jenner's comments were filled with hilarious responses. "She doesn’t know King Kylie paid for that house," reads one of the top-liked comments. "Convinced all the Kardashians kids r sent to humble em," "PLS she’s so sassy," and "Oh bless her I can’t wait until she fully understands how iconic and culturally significant the King Kylie era was," others added.
Jenner's King Kylie years were in the mid-2010s, filled with wigs in every color of the rainbow, bold matte lips, chokers, camo pants, and the beginnings of what would become a billion-dollar beauty brand. She was still a teenager, but the chaotic, colorful, expressive, lip filler era drama of it all was the blueprint for what would become the Kylie Cosmetics aesthetic. As another comment said, "King Kylie created an entire generation of baddies… one day she’ll know."
Until then, it's pretty hilarious seeing the younger Kardashian/Jenner members roast their parents. Kim Kardashian's daughter, North West, has also had plenty of viral moments of fearlessly going after her mom.
