Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, and Bianca Censori are back in the United States. The on-and-off-again controversial couple were spotted on a plane leaving Tokyo, headed back to the U.S. on June 12.
As for why they headed back to the US, the rapper was spotted showing up to court on June 13 to support his disgraced friend Sean “Diddy” Combs at his New York trial.
Ye may also be filing some legal papers of his own while he's in the States because it looks like he wants to change his name again. His CFO, Hussain Lalani, recently referred to the rapper as "Ye Ye" in multiple filings sent to the California Secretary of State, per E!. "Ye Ye" was listed as the "manager or member" of his companies: Yeezy Apparel, Yeezy Record Label, and Ox Paha Inc.
According to California law, if Ye wants to change his name again, he's going to have to file a petition with the court, schedule a hearing date, and publish a notice in the newspaper.
They might also be here on business because Bianca has been quietly building her own brand. Last month, she registered Bianca Censori Inc., a furniture company with offices in California and Australia. Of course, she isn't doing it alone; Ye is listed as director. The company’s headquarters are listed as 8025 Melrose Avenue in L.A., right next to the iconic “Made in L.A.” wall, per XXL. Given her background in architecture, the jump into high-end furniture makes sense.
Also involved is Lalani, founder of beauty brand Zensa, as CFO, sparking speculation that the venture could expand into lifestyle products. Ye's longtime lawyer, Manoj Shah, is also listed as the company’s legal rep, tying the rapper even deeper into the project.
The couple's chaotic international vacation
The couple was joined on their vacation by Bianca’s sister Angelina, who was spotted with them in Japan and Spain. But while she was busy posting sexy poolside pics, not everything about their European trip was picture-perfect.
In Spain, the couple reportedly caused a scene when Bianca walked through a local market in a see-through shirt. “People were horrified. They could be heard asking, ‘Is that her real nipple?’ as they walked by,” a source told The Sun. Kanye stood off to the side while five bodyguards in black suits and walkie-talkies swarmed around them.
To make matters messier, Spanish authorities were allegedly searching for over €500,000 in unpaid bills. West has reportedly cleared the debt, blaming the delay on international bank transfer issues. We’ll have to wait and see how long Ye and Bianca stick around in the U.S.
