In a sweet Instagram post, Melanie Griffith delighted fans with a rare glimpse of her daughter, Stella Banderas. The 28-year-old actress, whose father is Melanie’s ex-partner, Antonio Banderas, joined her mom for a night out in Los Angeles to celebrate the opening of NOVA, a new photo and film studio founded by Stella’s fiancé, Alex Gruszynski.
The mother-daughter duo was all smiles alongside friend Siena Severino as they supported Alex’s latest creative venture.
Griffith took to Instagram to share the snap, and in the caption, she praised her daughter Stella. The Body Double actress also described Nova’s new studio as a stunning space, and she showered her future son-in-law Alex with praise.
She posted, “My beautiful daughter @stellabanderasgriffith and @sienaseverino and me celebrating the opening of @itsnova new photo/film studio in LA! It’s a gorgeous space, ready now!!”

Melanie’s ex and Stella’s father, Puss in Boots star Antonio Banderas, whom she was married to from 1996 to 2015, was delighted to see the trio having fun. He wrote, “Happy to see you all happy!!!”
Several other stars took to the comments to congratulate Melanie on the picture, including actress and director Trudie Styler, who is married to music legend Sting. She wrote, “Love you Mel” Melanie replied: “Love you TRUDIE”.
Desperately Seeking Susan star Rosanna Arquette posted: “Love love.” And Spanish actress Loles León wrote: “Guapisimasssss. Muchos besos a las tres. Love,” which effectively means: “The most beautiful. Lots of kisses to all three of you. Love.” Moreover, Alex’s business partner Aidan commented: “Love you Melanie!!!”
Earlier this year, Antonio told how Melanie had temporarily moved in with Stella amid the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. He shared with PEOPLE, “I talk all the time with my daughter Stella. I continue doing it and I know everybody’s fine.”
“I know that Melanie was at some point, the whole entire area where she lives, they got the evacuation.And so her, my ex mother-in-law, some friends of my daughter, they were all living with my daughter because she was in an area that was not [affected].”
