Justin Bieber revealed a mystery leg injury during his recent trip to the spa.
In photos obtained by Page Six, the “Sorry” singer can be seen entering Voda Spa in West Hollywood, California on Friday, June 6, The flicks show Bieber wearing a black bandage knee brace on his left leg, sparking concerns over what could have happened to him.
For his outing, JB wore a bright red hoodie, a pair of green checkerboard shorts, and some blue slides. In addition to the mystery brace, he finished off the look with a blue baseball cap. The details of the injury remain unclear as the singer has not yet publicly commented on it.
Friday’s adventure comes amid concerns for the star after he started showing problematic behavior online, including casual drug use and many different rants. The former child star most recently gained a lot of attention after he shared a myriad of pictures featuring his son, Jack Blues, whom he shares with wife Hailey Bieber, via Instagram last month.
In the sweet photos, the 31-year-old carried his baby boy on his shoulders and sat on a couch while playing with the 9-month-old’s feet. In the same set of photos was a separate picture of him smoking what seems to be marijuana with a friend on the same couch.
Fans quickly realized that the Grammy winner was shirtless and wearing only blue shorts in both pictures, prompting concern for Justin’s child, with many calling him out for “smok[ing] in front of [his] kid” and “doing drugs with the baby around.” Back in February, Bieber’s rep slammed the “harmful” rumors of drug use, but the singer has continued to flaunt his rampant marijuana use in the months since.
In April, several people close to the singer expressed their concern for his mental health, telling the Hollywood Reporter that they feared he was falling apart mentally amid rumors of his financial troubles.
“Seeing him disintegrate like this … it’s watching the embodiment of someone not living their purpose,” a former team member told the outlet. “He’s lost. There’s no one protecting him because there’s no one there willing to say no to him. You say no, you get blown out.”
The singer’s rep also denied these claims, telling Page Six that the insiders were “clearly ill-informed” and were “disappointed that they no longer work with Justin.”
“As Justin forges his own way forward, these unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue. But, they won’t deter him from staying committed to following the right path,” the rep insisted.
