Ricky Martin is his sons' biggest supporter. The Puerto Rican singer recently shared his support for his son Valentino, who shared a daring aerial adventure on his social media.
Tino, 16, shared the video on his social media, showing him flexing his nerves of steel while aboard the Dive Devil, one of the scariest theme park rides in California.
The clip shows Tino strapped to two tall poles, swinging back and forth through great heights with his arms outstretched. The structure is over 150 feet high and has participants strapped on a harness as they take the plunge alone, making for one of the scariest experiences available at a theme park.
The clip also showed his Ricky Martin's reaction through it all. While he doesn't appear in the clip, he can be heard in the background, shouting words of encouragement. "Yeah, Tino! Yeah, boy!" he said.
"I BECAME JESUS FOR A MOMENT!!!!" Tino captioned the clip.
Martin and Jwan Yosef shared their sweet reactions
Following Tino's daring feat, Martin shared a sweet comment on his video's comments section: "You carry your name well, my brave boy." The comment was written in Spanish, drawing a clear line between the words Valiente, which translates to brave, and Valentino.
Jwan Yosef, Martin's former partner for years, also dropped a comment, surprised by Tino's bravery. "OMG Tinooooo," he captioned the post, adding a flexing and a tornado emoji.
While Martin and Yosef's relationship concluded in 2023, the pair remains present in each other's lives, with Yosef being the co-parent of Tino and his brother Matteo, while also sharing custody of the kids he shares with Martin: Lucia, 6, and Ren, 5.
"We have decided to end our marriage with love, respect and dignity for our children and honoring what we have experienced as a couple all these wonderful years," read the joint statement shared by the couple following their split.
