Plus-size model and body positivity advocate Denise Bidot wowed audiences as she strutted in a series of striking bikinis during the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show at W South Beach on May 31.
Following the event, Bidot took to social media to thank the brand for "reigniting my spark," describing the experience as nothing short of "speechless."
The 38-year-old plus-sized model took to the runway at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show at W South Beach on May 31, in Miami Beach, Florida, in a yellow and white polka dot two-piece, and a gray-green patterned string bikini.
Following the spectacle, Denise admitted she was "speechless" and said she now feels "more alive than ever" after strutting her stuff on the runway.
She shared several images on Instagram and wrote in the caption: "Still speechless. @si_swimsuit, you make us all feel so seen. Thank you for reigniting my spark. Walking into this next chapter more alive than ever."
Denise shared a picture with Nike athlete Tunde Oyeneyin and posted a video of herself and other Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models cheering after the show.
The 2025 SI Swimsuit rookie could be heard shouting: "We did it! We all did it! Woo!"
Denise also gave fans a special sneak peek behind the scenes at the glitzy runway show.
She said on Instagram: "OK, we are about to walk the carpet, I'm here with Julie and Jossy. Oh my God, that's cute Julie and Jossy. My girls. Hey! Look how cute this dress is. We're out here."
Denise's appearance at the Miami Beach-based event was even more impressive, considering it was her SI Swimsuit runway debut.
The star wasn't alone at the Swim Week and NYC Launch Weekend events. She took her daughter, Joselyn Adams, along for support amid her exciting journey and admitted it was an "honor" to bring her child to such an incredible life event.
Denise wrote on her Instagram Story: "Having you by my side through this journey of life has been the biggest honor of my existence."
She was among 15 other SI Swimsuit models who walked the runway and attended several SI Swimsuit events late last month.
