Gisele Bündchen is back in front of the camera after welcoming her third child in February. The 44-year-old icon is the star of Vogue France’s June/July wellness issue, and she gave a short but sweet interview sharing rare insight into life as a new mom again.
Shot by Mario Sorrenti, Bündchen’s photos were jaw-dropping as she floated through the editorial in barely-there lace gowns and sunlight, looking like a vision, but sounding like every new mom who’s just happy to brush her hair again.
“Getting my hair and makeup done feels like I’m on vacation,” she told the outlet. “With a baby, the nights are so short that I’ve barely brushed my hair in the last few months!”
This is Bündchen’s first major shoot since giving birth to her first child with Joaquim Valente, the jiu-jitsu instructor she met through her kids’ martial arts classes. He had been training Benjamin and Vivian, the two children she shares with ex-husband, Tom Brady, and his Jack, whom she raised as her own.
The former couple finalized their divorce in 2022 after 13 years of marriage, marking a major life reset for Gisele, both personally and professionally.
Now, she’s in what feels like a new era - grounded, present, and finally getting some sleep. “Now that my little one is sleeping through the night, I’m back in control,” she tells the magazine. “As any new mom knows, it’s incredible how much sleep—or lack of it—can change everything!”
Despite the sleepless nights, she made it clear she feels “truly grateful,” calling the time at home with her kids—Benjamin, 14, Vivian, 11, and her newest “bundle of joy” - absolutely “priceless.” And while she had an amazing day shooting on the beach, she added, “I was still looking forward to seeing my little bundle of joy again.”
So no, she’s not rushing back into full-time modeling. But she is stepping into something just as powerful. “I feel more comfortable in my own skin,” she says. “And I have a clearer understanding of my priorities. I’m grateful for where I am. I feel like I’ve earned it.”
Reflecting on the shoot in her Instagram caption, she wrote, "To me, wellness goes far beyond physical health. It’s not just about what you eat or how you move, it’s also about how you feel, think, and live. It’s in your thoughts, your habits, the boundaries you honor, and the inner peace you protect."
