Evan, 17, is the second child of Sánchez and her ex-husband, Patrick Whitesell, joining his older brother Nikko and younger sister Ella in the family. Despite their divorce in 2019, Sánchez and Whitesell continue to co-parent their children amicably.
Sánchez shared her joy on social media, posting a heartfelt message: "My heart is filled. Love you so much Evan, I still can't believe you're heading off to college. I love you beyond words." She wrote over a sweet photo of Evan in his cap and gown, both smiling as he plants a kiss on his mom's cheek.
In December 2024, she also announced that Evan would be attending the University of Miami's Herbert Business School, where he plans to study business. “My heart is bursting,” Sánchez, 54, wrote on her Instagram Story at the time, alongside a University of Miami logo and the word “business.” She added, “Beyond proud of you.”

While the exact venue remains undisclosed, speculation points to San Giorgio Maggiore, an island known for its former monastery, as a potential location. Guests will be transported via a fleet of Venetian water taxis, adding to the city's romantic ambiance.
In preparation for their wedding, the couple has been spotted attending events together, including the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monaco and a dinner in Portofino, Italy, before boarding Bezos's $500 million megayacht, Koru.
