A star-studded evening lit up Miami on Thursday as fashion and philanthropy collided for an unforgettable cause. The private benefit dinner, held in support of the nonprofit Style Saves, drew in an elite crowd — including Ivanka Trump, Karlie Kloss, and soccer star Paul Pogba — all rallying together to support students in need.
The glitzy gathering wasn’t just a feast for the eyes. It raised vital funds to help provide more than 25,000 students with essential school supplies — just in time for the upcoming school year.
Ivanka Trump, dazzling in a bold dress, attended the event alongside her sister-in-law, supermodel Karlie Kloss. Though the two have previously appeared distant due to political tensions — Kloss is married to Joshua Kushner, while Ivanka is famously wed to Jared Kushner — there were nothing but smiles as they celebrated a shared commitment to giving back.
“Cheers to 15 years of dedication, philanthropy, and community,” the organization posted on Instagram. “Last night’s benefit dinner was a celebration of all we’ve accomplished, and a look ahead at the work still to be done. Thank you for being part of our story.”
The evening’s centerpiece was a sit-down dinner curated by acclaimed Peruvian chef Valerie Chang. Guests mingled under the Miami lights, enjoyed moving speeches, and honored the legacy of Style Saves — now celebrating its 15th anniversary.
Founded by former Vogue stylist Rachael Russell Saiger, Style Saves is a nonprofit connecting fashion industry insiders to charitable action. Its mission? To provide underserved students with high-quality back-to-school supplies. Model and entrepreneur Isabela Rangel Grutman, who serves as the group’s vice president, took to social media to reflect on her decade-long involvement.
“Grateful for this community, this mission, and all the lives we’ve touched,” she shared.
Isabela is married to nightlife mogul David Grutman, the mastermind behind Groot Hospitality and Miami’s famed LIV nightclub. The couple's inner circle includes fellow A-listers David and Victoria Beckham, with Isabela previously revealing to Aventura Magazine, “They know they can trust us.”
As Style Saves gears up for its 15th annual Back-to-School event — set to take place on August 9 and 10 at the Miami Beach Convention Center — excitement is mounting. The gathering has grown into one of the largest events of its kind in the U.S., providing free backpacks, uniforms, and supplies to thousands of kids.
“Through our purpose-driven, experiential moments, including our Back-to-School event, Mentorship program and fundraising partnerships, we’ve formed an alliance of dedicated thought leaders who stand firm in the powerful connection that can be made when fashion meets philanthropy,” the organization's website reads.
Rachael, who has worked with fashion giants like Calvin Klein, Nike, and Clicquot, also brings experience from her time as Fashion Director at the jewelry brand Miansai. She’s also given back through organizations like Planned Parenthood and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Today, both Rachael and Isabela sit on the Style Saves board alongside their husbands, Michael and David — creating a true family affair in support of a brighter future for students across the country.
