Jennifer Lopez has a big year ahead of her. As she prepares for one of the biggest tours of her career, the actress and singer is also taking on a personal project.
According to the Spanish publication Marca, Lopez is renovating her stunning $21 million home. The property, located in Hidden Hills, California, is over 10,000 square feet and was purchased in February, shortly after she and Ben Affleck completed their divorce.
Lopez appears excited to renovate the home according to her taste. "Jennifer is renovating the home and making it what she wants to make it," said a source in Spanish.
"She's spending money because she wants everything to have a personal touch. She wants the place to be luminous, happy, and sexy." The home has all sorts of luxurious amenities, including a guest house, a pool house, a gym, a private movie theater, and an outdoor area with stables and a horse track.
The home is located in Calabasas, an area where she lived in 2001. "Jennifer wanted to get away from the crowds in the city and enjoy a quieter life. It's not about being away from Ben or his family," concluded the source.
Lopez and Affleck's previous home
Lopez and Affleck were previously based in a mansion in Beverly Hills, valued at $68 million. The home has reportedly been on the market for months.
The couple moved there in May 2023, a year after their first got married. The property features 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a bar, a sports lounge, a gym, a boxing ring, a pickleball court, and much more. The home could accommodate both of their families, including Lopez's twins Max and Emme, and Affleck's kids: Violet, Fin, and Samuel.
Affleck is now based in Los Angeles, closer to Jennifer Garner's and his kids' home.
