What was supposed to be a fairytale Palm Beach wedding ended in an awkward behind-the-scenes moment, as reported by People. According to a source close to the Peltz family, Nicola was left in tears after what she perceived as a calculated move by her new mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham, during the couple’s first dance at their 2022 wedding.

“Before the song began, Marc Anthony asked Brooklyn to come to the stage, and then announced, ‘The most beautiful woman in the room tonight, come on up…Victoria Beckham!’” said the source. “Nicola was stunned. She couldn't believe what was happening."
