Hopefully he's being serious

It looks like the rehab facility Ye, formerly Kanye West, is at has cured his antisemitism. The rapper has been making horrible headlines for his social media attacks on Jewish people, even releasing a song dedicated to Hitler in May. But according to Ye, it's stopping now.

Ye took to X on Thursday to share a series of quotes.  “I am done with antisemitism,” he began. “I love all people," "God forgive me for the pain I’ve caused," and "I forgive those who have caused me pain," followed.

He went on to share insight into what might have made him have a change of heart. "I simply got a FaceTime from my kids and I wanna save the world again…" he wrote.

“I simply got a FaceTime from my kids and I wanna save the world again,” he wrote. “Share peace. Share love," Ye continued, followed by, "GOD CALLS FOR PEACE."

He went on to share a broken link to Apple Music for his track with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, “Alive.”

Despite his claims, the Anti-Defamation League, which condemned his hate speech, told Billboard, “Sorry, but we’re not buying it." "We’ve seen this kind of attempted apology from Kanye before, only for him to back down over and over again,” they continued.

Has Ye turned a new leaf?

When it comes to Ye and the discussion around his mental health, it's a slippery slope with how much grace should be given, considering his horrifying antics. But he is currently in a rehab facility with his on-and-off-again wife, Bianca Censori.

The infamous duo checked into one of Europe's most exclusive wellness retreats, which charges up to €150,000 per week. Located on the Spanish island of Mallorca, it specializes in everything from alcohol and drug detox to stress and burnout recovery, and personalized trauma therapy.

It markets itself toward "high performers" who need a private reset. "Our peaceful residences serve as a private environment to let go of your past and future worries and start working on yourself now," the clinic's website reads.
