Comments ranged widely depending on the user.

More details about Skarsgard's film

Skarsgard is starring in "Pillion," a film that finds him as the leader of a motorcycle club who gets involved with a shy London guy (Harry Melling). As the two begin to spend time together, their relationship begins exploring complex power dynamics. Skarsgard dressed for the past by wearing some tight black leather pants.

"Pillion" is directed by Harry Lighton and marked his Cannes feature debut.

“I fell in love with [the script] from the very first,” said Skarsgard in a statement to Deadline. “It was just such a unique, strange, idiosyncratic tone and a character that I was drawn to. I thought it was such an interesting relationship."

"Some elements felt very universal and relatable in kind of the rom-com aspects slightly subverted, set in this world of kinky gay bikers. There was something really unique about this that I hadn’t seen before that got me very excited.”
